Situated close to the popular village of Ingleton on the Western edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Ellerbeck Lodge makes the ideal base to explore this delightful area, while a short journey to the West takes you into the lovely Forest of Bowland.

There is ample opportunity for walking right on our doorstep, starting with the famous Ingleton Waterfalls walk, and ranging from a gentle stroll by one of the many streams to a challenging hike up one of England's tallest peaks. The surrounding area is justly popular with climbers and pot-holers, and also offers ample opportunities for fishing, canoeing and mountain-biking. The local
landscape is magnificent, with rugged hillsides and open moorland interspersed with wooded valleys and tumbling brooks, all rich in flora and fauna. The area also offers a wealth of historic interest, being liberally dotted with ancient market towns, like Skipton and Settle, and picturesque old villages, like Malham, Kettlewell and Hawes.
